《水化学与技术》杂志主要关注水和废水处理、水污染监测、水净化和类似主题。该杂志在以下部分发表了原始的科学理论和实验文章：水科学的新进展；水处理和技术的理论原理；水处理工艺的物理化学；分析水化学；天然水和废水分析；水处理技术以及水的脱盐；水处理的生物方法；以及对最新研究结果进行总结的重要评论。该杂志欢迎来自所有国家的英文或俄文手稿。所有的手稿都经过同行评审。同行评议《水化学与技术杂志》是一本同行评议的杂志。我们使用单盲同行评审格式。我们的审查小组包括来自15个国家的80名内部和外部审查员（50%）。2017年从提交到第一次决定的平均时间为45天，从第一次决定到接受的平均时间为90天。2017年提交稿件不合格率为40%。接受发表文章的最终决定由编辑委员会和同行评审员作出。受邀审稿人如因利益冲突，认为不合格或不能审稿，应及时通知编辑，拒绝邀请。审稿人应以合理、合理的方式清楚地陈述自己的观点，以便作者可以利用审稿人的论点来改进手稿。必须避免对作者的个人批评。审稿人应在审稿中指出：（1）作者未引用的任何相关出版作品；（2）以前出版物中报道的任何内容，但未给出适当的参考或引用；（3）任何实质性相似或重叠与其他手稿(发表或未发表)的个人知识。

Journal of Water Chemistry and Technology focuses on water and wastewater treatment, water pollution monitoring, water purification, and similar topics. The journal publishes original scientific theoretical and experimental articles in the following sections: new developments in the science of water; theoretical principles of water treatment and technology; physical chemistry of water treatment processes; analytical water chemistry; analysis of natural and waste waters; water treatment technology and demineralization of water; biological methods of water treatment; and also solicited critical reviews summarizing the latest findings. The journal welcomes manuscripts from all countries in the English or Russian language. All manuscripts are peer-reviewed.PEER REVIEWJournal of Water Chemistry and Technology is a peer reviewed journal. We use a single blind peer review format. Our team of reviewers includes 80 reviewers, both internal and external (50%), from 15 countries. The average period from submission to first decision in 2017 was 45 days, and that from first decision to acceptance was 90 days. The rejection rate for submitted manuscripts in 2017 was 40%. The final decision on the acceptance of an article for publication is made by the Editorial Board and the Peer Reviewers.Any invited reviewer who feels unqualified or unable to review the manuscript due to the conflict of interests should promptly notify the editors and decline the invitation. Reviewers should formulate their statements clearly in a sound and reasoned way so that authors can use reviewer’s arguments to improve the manuscript. Personal criticism of the authors must be avoided. Reviewers should indicate in a review (i) any relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors, (ii) anything that has been reported in previous publications and not given appropriate reference or citation, (iii) any substantial similarity or overlap with any other manuscript (published or unpublished) of which they have personal knowledge.
